COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

The COVID-19 situation develops and grows daily and is of course effecting everywhere and just about everyone in the world in some way. The official travel advice from the Australian Government is now fairly clear…
We now advise all Australians: do not travel overseas at this time. This is our highest advice level (level 4 of 4).
In addition to this state borders are being closed and it is recommended that all non-essential domestic travel be postponed or cancelled. In line with the stage 1 restrictions for Australian businesses, and with stage 2 imminent, and the state governments instruction to close schools, we have taken the pro-active decision to close the doors of our office for the foreseeable future. Let’s remember the office is merely a physical location. In every other sense we are open for business. The only difference now is the way we interact.
Thankfully we live in a technological age where there are many ways to communicate effectively and seamlessly. We encourage you to reach out to us, as we will to you. There are several great video apps we can use to communicate in a way where we can still see and hear each other. We favour the Zoom App, as well as Skype and messenger, where we can still schedule appointments, and assist with your bookings. Of course there are still mobile and email options as well.
Of course it goes without saying that most enquiries are about cancellations and postponements at the moment, We are making our way through all the available information, please be patient whilst we clarify all the options for you as most suppliers are swamped, and phone hold times are through the roof.
Cancellations and amendments are really about timing, getting the timing of a cancellation right that enables you to get the best possible outcome/minimize financial loss.
We are creating additional resources. We just launched a new informational section on our website designed to help. We have created a list of current policies for all the main suppliers that affects your travel. Airlines, Cruise lines and Tour companies all have policies out now, most covering travel up until the 31st of May, but they do vary.
